About the Galactic
The Galactic borrows the Chronomat's rider tabs and puts them on slimmer, simpler watches. Most references are three-hand automatics with a date, in sizes from small women's models up to around 44mm. Many women's Galactics add diamond-set bezels or mother-of-pearl dials. The line also included the Galactic Unitime, a world time chronograph. Case finishing mixes brushed and polished surfaces, so condition grades matter on this line. Most Galactic references now trade on the secondary market.
