Goldbro Timepieces holds authenticated Rolex Oyster Perpetual references for sale, certified genuine in-house and shipped insured across the United States. The Oyster Perpetual is the simplest watch Rolex makes: hours, minutes and seconds, no date, no complication. It runs from 28mm to 41mm in Oystersteel, and it is where most collections start.
What a time-only Rolex gives you
Removing the date changes the dial rather than the watch. There is no cyclops on the crystal and no aperture breaking the three o'clock marker, so the face reads symmetrically. Buyers who have owned a Datejust often come to the Oyster Perpetual for exactly that reason.
The 2020 generation brought lacquer dials in coral red, turquoise blue, candy pink, yellow and green to the 41mm and 36mm cases, and those references now trade differently from the black and silver examples alongside them. Earlier Oyster Perpetuals in 34mm and 39mm are out of production and turn up mainly on the secondary market.
What to check
Goldbro authenticates every Oyster Perpetual in-house before it is listed, with reference, year, condition grade and box-and-papers status recorded. On the entry references the questions worth asking are whether the dial is original and how much life is left in the bracelet, since these watches tend to have been worn rather than stored. Eligible pieces carry a 12-month Goldbro warranty.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between an Oyster Perpetual and a Datejust?
The Oyster Perpetual has no date, no cyclops lens and a plain bezel. The Datejust adds the date at three with a magnifying cyclops and offers fluted bezels, Jubilee bracelets and precious-metal versions.
Which Oyster Perpetual sizes are available?
Current production covers 28mm, 31mm, 34mm, 36mm and 41mm. Goldbro also carries discontinued 39mm references when stock allows.
How much is a Rolex Oyster Perpetual?
Goldbro Timepieces prices in three bands, $5K–$15K, $15K–$40K and $40K–$100K+. The Oyster Perpetual is the most accessible line, with dial colour affecting placement more than size.
