The Rolex Pepsi is the GMT-Master II with a red and blue bezel, currently reference 126710BLRO. Goldbro Timepieces holds authenticated Pepsi references for sale, certified genuine in-house and shipped insured across the United States. The nickname comes from the bezel colours matching the soft-drink livery, and it has been in collector use since the 1950s references.

The Pepsi references

The current 126710BLRO arrived in Oystersteel in 2018 with a red and blue Cerachrom bezel, offered on both Jubilee and Oyster bracelets. Before that the colour combination ran in white gold as the 116719BLRO from 2014, because Rolex had not yet solved firing two colours into a single ceramic bezel in steel.

Earlier still, the 16710 and its predecessors used an aluminium insert. Those fade, and the faded examples are the ones collectors chase. A washed-out pink and pale blue insert on an original watch generally carries more value than a crisp replacement.

What collectors look for

Bezel originality first. On aluminium references an insert swap is common and materially affects the figure, so Goldbro records whether the insert is original on every listing. On ceramic references the questions move to bracelet choice, since a Jubilee and an Oyster on the same reference trade differently.
